The shared folders below contains lists of fees and supplies required for each program. Fees may be paid by cash, VISA, MasterCard, check, or money order (check and money orders can be made out to Mid-East CTC). Parents/Guardians can set up a payment plan, but either the entire program fee or the first payment must be paid prior to the first day of school.
Transportation, Parking, and Campus Map
Busing: Transportation to and from Mid-East CTC is handled through the student’s partner school. Be sure to call your student’s partner school transportation department to get the information for bus transportation.
Student drivers: Students are permitted to drive their own vehicle to Mid-East. Students attending the Buffalo Campus will need to park in the designated student parking lots (see campus image below).
Buffalo Campus Shuttle: Buffalo students can park at the Zanesville Campus in Student Lot B (see campus image here) and a shuttle bus will transport you to the Buffalo Campus. The shuttle bus will leave at approximately 8:05 a.m. in the morning and return in the afternoon at approximately at 3:45 p.m. Breakfast is served in the Commons from 8:40 a.m until 8:55 a.m. for the shuttle bus riders.
Parent drop-off: Our main doors unlock at 7:30 a.m., so you may drop off your student anytime after that. Breakfast is served in the Commons from 8:00 a.m. until 8:23 a.m.
Please enter at the south entrance closest to Buffalo and line up along the front of the building. You will exit at the north gate. Be cautious of the bottom parking lot as students exit from there, also. If you park anywhere else, we will ask you to move your car. We must keep one lane available for moving traffic.
Parent pick-up: Students will be dismissed at 3:05pm. Please enter at the south entrance closest to Buffalo and line up along the front of the building. You will exit at the north gate. Be cautious of the bottom parking lot as students exit from there, also. If you park anywhere else, we will ask you to move your car. We must keep one lane available for moving traffic.

I will be dropping off and picking up my student. When should I arrive?
Our main doors unlock at 7:30 a.m., so you may drop off your student anytime after that. Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. until 8:23 a.m. then again from 8:40 a.m until 8:55 a.m. for the shuttle bus riders. Your student may go to the Commons to have breakfast.

What does my student need to wear on the first day of school?
What does my student need to bring on the first day of school?
Your student will only need the basic items (notebook, pens, pencils, etc.) on the first day of school. The academic instructors may add a few items the students will need that are specific to their courses. The lab/program instructors will go over a timeline with your student of what items to bring (you should have received a list) and when to bring them to the lab.
I filled out FinalForms, but I am getting a notice that I have not. What do I need to do?
If your student’s partner school also uses FinalForms, they may require you to fill out their forms, as well. Please make sure you fill out FinalForms for BOTH places. If you are unsure about filling out FinalForms for your student’s partner school, we suggest getting in touch with the partner school.
I need to call my student off school, how do I do that (students are only to be called off by people listed on FinalForms)?
My student just contacted me saying they are feeling sick. Whom do I call?
My student needs to leave school early. What do I need to do (students are only to be released by people listed on FinalForms)?
The two best methods are:
Write a note, and send it with your student. Make sure the date, time, reason for leaving, name, and phone number are all on the note. Your student MUST give the note to the Attendance office before AM SOAR class. If notes are turned in after AM SOAR, we will have to call and verify the note with you.
Call 740.685.2516, or leave a message as early in the morning as possible. You may call and leave a message any time before school starts.
***Please note*** Any calls received less than an hour of the early release time may NOT be guaranteed to leave “on time.” This is why it is VERY important to follow the methods mentioned above the best you can to ensure a smooth, timely release of your student.
Students are not permitted to stay in the office until a phone call is received for an early dismissal. They will be sent back to class until it is time for them to leave. We also do not take phone calls from a student’s phone for an early dismissal.
Can my student bring any restaurant food for breakfast or lunch? Or can I drop off any restaurant food for my student for breakfast or lunch?
When will I have access to my student’s ProgressBook/Grades?
ProgressBook access is emailed to parents/guardians during the third week of September. If you have not received an email with instructions and the access code by the end of September, please contact Mrs. Ancell at 740-685-1591 or rancell@mideastctc.org. The students will receive the same information, as well.
